CSS can be helpful if you or your loved one: *has been unemployed or has a poor work history *requires public financial assistance *shows an inability to maintain a personal support system *requires help on important daily living activites *requires help in attending to basic health care *exhibits inappropriate social behavior *or there is concern about the need for hospitalization.

Strengths Based Case Management

Case Managers work with consumers in managing their symptoms within the community and help them identify goals and ways to get there in their journey to recovery.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation

A variety of individual and group programs are offered that focuses on teaching skills to help consumers function independently.

Supported Employment

This service assists individuals in finding good job matches. SCMHCC works with employers to find successful employment.

Peer Support

This service is available to those who would benefit from support from someone that also experienced a mental illness and needs support in finding additional supports in the community that are helpful in their recovery.

Kansas Partnership Family

Kansas Partnership of Families is an evidenced based practice that has been shown to decrease hospitalizations and improve consumer-family relationships. The program is psycho-educational in nature for consumers that are diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder and their families.
