Summary of Benefits
HOLIDAYS: A minimum of 10 Major Holidays are given at the center. Additional adjoining holidays are sometimes given.
VACATION LEAVE: Employees begin to accrue vacation leave during their first month of employment. 12 days of vacation are accrued in the first year. Beginning in the second year, an employee accrues 15 days per year. Beginning in the 5th year an employee accrues 21 days of vacation leave per year.
SICK LEAVE: Employees accrue sick leave at the rate of 12 days per year
COMPREHENSIVE DENTAL AND HEALTH INSURANCE: Provided at no cost to employee. A life insurance policy in the amount of $10,000 is provided.
LOSS OF INCOME INSURANCE: (Eligible after 1 year of employment) The Center will provide to each employee loss of income or long term disability insurance.
LIFE INSURANCE: (Eligible after 1 year of employment) The Center will pay for life insurance at a face value equal to annual salary in $5000 increments up to $40,000. Employees have the option of purchasing additional coverage for their spouse of themselves.
RETIREMENT PLAN: (Eligible after 1 year of employment) The Center will contribute an amount equal to 5% of gross salary for each employee to a Tax Deferred Annuity.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING: (Eligible after 1 year of employment) Through payroll deduction, the employee may wish to claim medical and/or child care expenses. Open enrollment is each June.
YMCA MEMBERSHIP: SCMH will pay the registration fee and half of the monthly membership fee.
DIRECT DEPOSIT: is available for all employees.
PROFESSIONAL LEAVE: 4 days and $500 to pay for conferences, some positions
STUDENT LOAN REIMBURSEMENT: Some positions.
