Mental Health First Aid-
Just as CPR and first aid are intended to help an injured person before proper medical treatment can be provided, Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach the public key skills to help someone developing a mental health problem or crisis. The courses are designed for intervening with either adults or youth to help participants learn how to recognize mental disorders; better understand mental health treatments; be more confident in providing help to others; and to be more comfortable around people with mental disorders.
